Ayla International School recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each child. Established in 2003, the school’s primary mission is to foster a love of learning in each student.

Here is how you apply:

  1. Check availability:  Please contact admissions to confirm space availability.
  2. Contact: Fill in the  online “contact form” and make an appointment. You can find on on the Menu Bar under “contact us”.
  3. Visit school: You will be contacted by the school director for a school tour and  an interview.
  4. Half day trial:Before your child is accepted for enrollment, you’ll be asked to send your child for a half day trial lesson at Ayla. This is to allow us to assess his / her social-emotional development and ability to adapt.
  5. Notification: You will be notified at the end of the  trial day if your child match to our program.
  6. Send appliction: Almost all our required documents can be found online. Please fill in all the documents online. You can send the rest by postal mail or scan it and send it via e-mail.
  7. Upon completing all the above application steps, successful applicants will receive a formal letter of admissions from the school, followed by an invoice, indicating the amount and due dates for tuition.
  8. All tuition fees needs to be paid before the due date and all fees are non-refundable.
Notes: Classes are kept to a low student-teacher ratio and often fill up quickly. Your spot will be reserved upon payment of the tuition fee.

For further inquiries please contact Teri at AIS will contact the parents as soon as possible to communicate admissions. If there is a waiting list, AIS will also communicate this status.


Regular Programs
September~June (10 months)

Nursery, Preschool and Kindergarten:
Initial fee  for Regular Program (total: 300,000 yen)
Initial fee breakdown is as below:
Registration fee (one time only): 150,000 yen
Educational Enhance fee  (annual): 150,000 yen
Textbooks will be invoiced at cost applicable

1-day fee is 10,000 yen per day

After School Program (3 to 9 years old)

Registration fee: 50,000 yen
Educational Enhance fee  (annual): 50,000 yen
Extended care   Hours: 13:00~18:00    900 yen per 30 minutesFrom once a week / 10,000 yen per month (60 minutes X 4)

Tuition can be paid annual or bi-annual.
Discounts apply to self-paying families or families that have more than one child.
An additional 10% consumption tax will apply to all fees and tuition.

Tuition Policy
Tuition is due in full upon receipt of the school’s invoice. However, individuals who are paying from personal funds may inquire through the Accounting Office about an installment plan.

Late Enrollment: For students enrolled after the school year commences, tuition fee will be calculated based upon academic quarters. Attendance for any portion of a quarter will necessitate payment for the entire quarter.

Installment Payments: Payment of tuition fee on installment is an option available to individual families who are paying the annual tuition (not for companies responsible for covering educational expenses).

Scholarship Program (Financial Aid): The spirit of AIS is to aid families who may require financial assistance in order for their children to attend our school. AIS offer a limited amount of need-based financial assistance to qualified families. Requirements are proof of income and that the child is non-Japanese.

Refunds:  All fees are non-refundable.
