Admissions

Established in 2003, Ayla International School recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each child. Our primary mission is to foster a love of learning in each student. In addition, we celebrate diversity and strive to instill integrity, compassion, and confidence in each child, supporting and encouraging them to become their unique selves.

Admissions Process

  1. Check availability. Contact admissions to confirm space availability.
  2. Schedule a visit. Fill out the online contact form to schedule a visit with the school director.
  3. Take a half-day trial. Send your child for a half-day trial lesson at Ayla to assess their social-emotional development and adaptability.
  4. Receive notification. You will be notified at the end of the trial day if your child matches our program.
  5. Submit application. Fill out the online application form.

Additional Notes

  • Classes are kept to a low student-teacher ratio to ensure that each student receives the individual attention they need.
  • Classes often fill up quickly, so it is important to register early.
  • Your spot in a class will be reserved upon payment of the tuition fee.

Tuition Policy

Please read and understand our tuition policy before applying. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Tuition Policy
Tuition & Fees
  • Consumption Tax: Tuition fees are subject to an additional 10% consumption tax.
  • Full Payment: Full payment of tuition is due upon receipt of the school's invoice.
  • Installment Plans: Individuals paying from personal funds may inquire about an installment plan through the Accounting Office.
  • Payment Methods: All fees must be paid by bank transfer or Wise. We do not accept cash or credit card payment.
  • Account Naming: Please make all transfers in your child's name.
  • Bank Charges: All bank charges (from Japan or overseas) needed for bank transfer must be covered by the payer.
  • Refunds: All fees are non-refundable after payment.
Late Enrollment
  • Tuition for students enrolling after the school year begins will be calculated based on academic quarters.
  • Attendance for any part of a quarter requires payment for the entire quarter.
Installment Payments
  • An installment payment option is available for individual families paying the annual tuition themselves. This option is not available for companies covering educational expenses.
Scholarship Program (Financial Aid)
  • AIS offers need-based financial assistance to qualified families who require support for their children to attend the school.
  • To be eligible for financial aid, families must provide proof of income and the child must be non-Japanese.
Refunds
  • All fees are non-refundable.

Regular Programs (9 am - 3 pm)

The Regular Program Nursery, Preschool, and Kindergarten runs from September to June, and the initial fees consist of the One-time Registration Fee, the first Annual Education Enhance Fee, and the first Annual Tuition Fee.

These programs are for parents who want their children to stay longer at Ayla and enjoy the benefits of more learning, more play, and more fun. Regular Plus Programs are for 5 day students only.

Short Term Enrollments!

Our program is designed for children ages 1-6 and offers a variety of activities and experiences to help children develop their skills and knowledge. Short Term enrollments can span 1-3 months, with class from 9:00 am-1:00 pm, with the option of extended care until 6:00 pm.
